Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage and tourist place in Rupandehi district of Nepal. It has a many numbers of temples, including the Mayadevi Temple and several others which are still under construction. Also, there is the Piuskarini, or Holy Pond, where the Buddha’s mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he had his bath. UNESCO made Lumbini a World Heritage Site status in 1997.
Janakpur is also known as Janakpurdham. It is the capital and administrative city of the Mithila, Nepal. It is a home of the historic 500- year old Janaki Temple, a major attraction of Indian Hindu pilgrims and international tourists. The Temple has 60 rooms and the massive 19th-century marble structure which makes the largest temple in Nepal. Janakpur is known for more than 100 sacred pools and ponds scattered around the tranquil city as well.
Khumbu is also known as the Everest Region. It is a region of northeastern Nepal on the side of Mount Everest. It includes the town of Namche Bazaar as well as the village of Thame, Khumjung, Pangboche, Pheriche, and Kunde. The famous Buddhist monastery at Tengboche, there is a variety of comfortable accommodations available at the monastery. Many of which offer outstanding views of the Mount Everest.
Nagarkot is a village and is located 32 km east of Kathmandu. At a height of 2,195 meters, it is considered one of the most scenic places in Bhaktapur District. It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayas range of eastern Nepal. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of Kathmandu valley. It is a very popular hiking route for tourists because of the scenic beauty of the place.
Chitwan National Park
The first national park of Nepal is Chitwan National Park. This national park is home to Bengal tigers, Rhinos, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Gaur(Buffalo) Deer, and many other critters. Freshwater dolphins ( Gangetic ) and crocodiles inhabit the rivers and streams but are the rarely seen. Patan is the third largest city of Nepal after and it is located in the south-central part of Kathmandu Valley (Also known as Manigal). The Annapurna Circuit is one of the popular names for trek within the Annapurna mountain range of central Nepal. The classic trek leads travelers high into the Himalayas, across plunging gorges, over desert plateaus and through lush subtropical valleys dotted by terraced farms. The trek also passes by many quaint villages and religious sites. Trek begins at Besisahar or Bhulbhule in the Marshyngdi river valley and concludes in the Kali Gandaki Gorge.
